I got my Samsung slate 7 mainly for use with Photoshop and Illustrator, specifically with the brush and pen tools. And here's where the screen's tough glassiness goes from benefit to minus--it makes the pen sort of 'skate' across the screen (for me at least). And for that the screen protector works great.To give perspective, I don't like screen protectors in general, and prefer my smart phones with no wrapping. But it was really necessary for this Slate. On application: they send it with this ridiculous little piece of plastic.
