5.0 out of 5 stars Great bag for the light-commuter, December 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I spent weeks researching every laptop bag I could find on the web and I do not regret my decision to purchase this one.
This bag is perfect for the student or light-commuter, carrys daily essentials. Not for someone needing an overnight bag

In my bag right now:
-Main compartment: 15" Macbook Pro, charger, full sized headphones, jar of peanut-butter, textbook, planner, gloves, and scarf
-Front compartment: deodorant, laptop lock, 3 pill containers, lotion, pens, and hand sanitizer
-Front zipper: wallet, change, car keys
-Strap zipper: eye drops, change, chap stick
*This is the aspect I felt lacking from reviews is "what can I put in it?"

Pros:
-Slingpack design is better for those of us with shoulder and neck injuries
-Love the stylish design
-Quality construction
-Water-bottle holder is a must personally
-Side carry handle is incredibly well thought out
-Zipper on front strap holds small essentials... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Thule Sling, March 31, 2010

This is a great bag. I have been searching for the perfect sling bag, and this one is it! I have so many sling bags, but none felt as good as I wanted them to. I saw this bag and it looked cool and bought it. It is able to fit alot of things in it and not feel heavy or hurt my back after a while. (Which all others do) It also doesn't look huge on me after I packed it tight. I am able to fit my 12" Sony Vio laptop in it, a note book, a folder filled with papers, my cords and wireless mouse, along with a thick Journal book, pens, highlighters, a reading book, and some other every day items, and still had plenty of room for more. There are many places to put things, hidden areas and great places for ipod, cell, and glasses without worring about them getting scratched! I also love the outside place for a water bottle! I was caught out in a rain storm and I ended up soaked, and thankfully my laptop and all my school stuff was dry as can be in this bag! I recommend this bag! It is great... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Well-Rounded Sling Bag, March 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I am currently a college student, and I got this sling bag to mainly carry my books around campus.

Before I got this bag, I had two backpacks. One is pretty large, and I use it mainly for traveling, but it's a bit too big for me to carry around everyday. The other bag I use can carry a couple of books, but I was not designed to carry a computer. Plus, it is not water proof at all. So, I was in search for a bag (specifically a sling bag) that could hold at least two textbooks, a couple of small books, a computer, and some school supplies all at one time (and not be too big). It also needed to be designed to specifically hold a computer, be durable, be water-proof, and have a number of pockets. The Thule Crossover Slingpack accomplishes all of this.

I make good use of the pocket on the strap. I use it to hold my shades; however, I use aviator sunglasses, and the pocket can barely hold them. The glasses' frame also bend in the pocket since it is pressed against my... Read more
